Her story
From gold medallist to India's foremost aesthetic mentor
Dr. Neha Shukla began her journey as a gold medallist in MD Dermatology — topping her postgraduate batch at a time when aesthetic dermatology was barely a recognised speciality in India. She chose to build her practice in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, becoming the first aesthetic dermatologist in the capital city and proving that world-class cosmetic care didn't require a Mumbai or Delhi address.
As her clinic grew, so did requests from fellow doctors wanting to learn. She began taking trainees — but on her own terms: tiny batches of 4, live patients every day, no compromise on standards. Over 15 years, more than 1,000 doctors have trained under her. Many now run thriving aesthetic practices of their own across every corner of India.
